Nature Prince Albert - 2006 Meeting Schedule


Nature Prince Albert meets at 7:30 PM on the third Tuesday of every month from September through May. Meetings take place in Room 232 of the SIAST Academic Centre (15 St and 10 Avenue East, Prince Albert, SK).

Meeting topics are as follows:

February 21 - Rob Wright, ecologist with Saskatchewan Environment, will give a presentation on the Saskatchewan Boreal Forest in dedication to Dr. Stan Rowe.

March 21 - Robert Smith, president of Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers, will give a presentation on Search and Rescue.

April 18 - Owling trip to Candle Lake. If the frogs are not too noisy, we could hear five or six owl species.

May 15 - Annual General Meeting - President's report, financial report, election of officers. Report on Nature Saskatchewan Spring Meet.

Every Thursday in June - Wildflower identification walks on Kiwanis Nature Trail on the north bank of the North Saskatchewan River.

Hosting Nature Saskatchewan Spring Meet - June 16-18, 2006 at Exhibition Park in Prince Albert.

Friday, June 16, 2006
Registration from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
