Welcome!

This site has been designed to provide a wealth of information regarding music of the 1970s, as reported by Billboard magazine's weekly charts. This info should prove useful to audiophiles, radio producers or anybody interested in the popular music of the 1970s.
Please bear with me, as I am continually updating this site.

The list is broken down alphabetically by artist and covers all U.S. chart hits and Top 40 LPs between January 3, 1970 and December 22, 1979. Please email me if you find an error or have a question.

My take on this: I have placed this website online because of a lifelong love and respect for the music. Any links provided are for the benefit of visitors.

This website is dedicated to the memory of my old schoolmate Tom Dillon (1971-1999).
Tom was more than just my friend; he helped me gain a great deal of appreciation for much of the music covered in this site. It was through our friendship that I began working towards my early career as a radio disc jockey. In many ways, he was indirectly responsible for my gathering of the information included here. He left this plane of existence much too early. Since I never had the chance to thank him personally for his help in shaping my future, I humbly dedicate this site to his memory.
