Before continuing, your browser must support the full Java 1.1 specification. Browsers currently supporting this specification include Netscape Communicator 4.08/4.51 on Windows 95/98/NT and Unix, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 on Windows 95/98/NT, Macintosh, and Unix.
Although it is recommeded that you upgrade to the latest version of your favorite browser for security reasons, the following will also work: Netscape Communicator 4.03/4.04 with the Java 1.1 support patch on Windows 95/98/NT and Unix, Netscape Communicator 4.05 - 4.07 on Windows 95/98/NT and Unix, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 on Windows 95/98/NT, Macintosh, and Unix.
If you choose not to download the latest browsers available supporting Java 1.1 or wish to run the program locally, regular applications will be made available for Macintosh and Windows 95/NT.
