Fort Knox Command Station
The Fort Knox class station is one of the largest stations know to exist, even larger than the Tasa Rosa station located at Cardassia. Originally designed to serve as the Eastern Coalition's command station, duplicate stations were constructed to enforce the Trade Federation's will at all major systems. Valiant Orion freedom fighters liberated Acquisition Three while it was still under construction. It now serves as the command centre for all Republic operations. |

Galaxy-X Battleship
An advanced upgrade to the old Federation Galaxy class, the Galaxy-X was designed by the Mnhe'Shae protectorate. Large numbers of these warships were constructed to give the tyrants of the Trade Federation access to larger and more powerful ships that the D'Kora. Two of these elite warships defected to our side when we liberated Orion. |

D'Kora II Marauder
The Marauder was the backbone of the Trade Federation navy. The largest ship produced by the old Ferengi Alliance, the D'Kora had been rendered even more powerful by an upgrade designed by the Vesparian Republic. Fortunately, the Trade Federation was foolish enough to crew three of these ships with predominantly Orion crews. All three warships defected when we freed ourselves. |

Chancellor Fakarn - Ruler of the Republic
Fakarn grew up on the streets of Orion. He served for some years as a low level thief in the Orion Syndicate, but later was forced out of the organisation due to... difficulties... with syndicate administrators. He later moved into politics, and was the mayor of the city of Aldorn when the Trade Federation was formed. When Orion joined the Federation, Krax's syndicate allies gained great power on Orion, and eventually forced Fakarn out of his position. However, Fakarn realised the syndicate had no real control, and was only a puppet of the Ferengi. Fakarn attempted to report this, and was nearly killed by the Ferengi, leaving him heavily scarred. Fakarn then moved underground, and formed the Right Hand of Vengeance freedom fighters organisation, dedicated to liberating Orion from the Ferengi, and placing Orions back in control of their own world. Fakarn, with the help of his shadowy allies, eventually gained enough power to seize control of the Trade Federation battlestation Acquisition Three. With it's firepower behind him, Fakarn was able to force the Trade Federation forces to surrender, and withdraw from Orion. Fakarn declared the formation of the Independent Republic of Orion, and was unanimously elected it's first chancellor. Soon afterwards, Fakarn agreed to talks with the Trade Federation Nagus, Krax. However, Krax was killed by an unknown ship while en route. Believing the ship to be Orion, the Trade Federation declared war. |
