Career Goal To become a Microsoft Certified Network Engineer and Network Administrator.

Experience Systems Specialist with a large Computer Services department. Systems network configuration and maintenance of twenty off-site physician’s practices connected to the main hospital.

Ö Working experience with network management and optimization. ISDN Gandalf bridge configuration and CAT. 5 wiring techniques. I have installed a complete ISDN site from wiring, punch block, patch panel, bridge to devices. I have set up Dial-up networking into the main network. I possess bench and trouble-shooting skills on the hardware and software level. I do what it takes to complete a job. I have actively participated in Computer Services department and physician implementation meetings. I actively consult with other system specialists to implement efficient and secure network solutions. I like to think out-of-the-box for better computer utility and effectiveness.

Ö I am currently studying Windows NT 4.0 Server Administration and Networking Essentials for MCP certificates. I plan to complete my M.C.S.E in the future.

Major Job Functions and Responsibilities....

Information Systems and Managed Services Organization duties performed :

* Above all else, must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills by utilizing inter-hospital mail, verbal conveyance, and departmental meetings.

* Trouble shooting PC problems,using the appropriate hardware/software to eradicate the problem.

* Aid in the development, installation and maintenance of all remote local networks and system related hardware and software.

* Assist in the ever-changing network system performance through suggestions AND hands on experience.

* Repair/replace and trouble-shoot all faulty peripherals attached to the PC's including printers, scanners.…etc.

* Attend Implementation meetings and play an active role in the discussions.

* Coordinate/Communicate with key people to assess accuracy of deadlines and additional equipment needed to complete the job.

* Build PC systems and configure them for use at the doctor’s practices.

* Documentation of each and every hardware move or new installation.

* Attend in-service and other meetings as required.

* To aid and assist in the control of inventory.

* To conduct myself in a professional manner that directly reflects the integrity of said Health System.

* Ensure compliance with established department policies, JCHAO accreditation, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control.
