| Jibanananda:
Jiban (Life) + Ananda (Happiness). The
pronunciation of "Jeevan" in Oriya is Jiban. (Both meaning
Life). I hail from Bhubaneswar,
Orissa- A state at the eastern coast of India. The state is more known as
JAGANNATH DHAM due to the location of Lord Jagannath Temple at Puri.
This space is a humble effort to put about me and all the information I am carrying with me. I
am mechanical engineer with diversified experience and work arena. I
started my career as a trainee engineer, at Kalinga Engineers, a company
which was set up with the vision and philosophy of Late Biju Pattnaik, and
was involved in the design, manufacturing and projects of cranes and
conveyors. Currently
in C-DAC, Pune as a Technical Staff
I have been involved with the design and development of Supercomputers for
India and other products of C-DAC. I was also involved in putting the
mission of INNOVATIVE INDIA in place as National Coordinator (Value
Addition, Research and Development) in National
Innovation Foundation. National Innovation Foundation caters to the
economic and technical upliftment of the grassroots innovators and
traditional knowledge holders. I dream a lot, wish a lot and carry a flare for technical upliftment of the country and preparing students for tomorrows’ challenge. I am associated with various professional and social societies. I am in the board of a NGO called PRAGNYA (Promotion of Research Activities for Grassroots, Nature and Youth Advancement) as an honorary trustee and also an active expert on the panel of SRIJAN - another NGO working towards Entrepreneurship and Students Project Guidance.
