STATE CONTACT PROGRAM

This page has been set up in response to requests from members of the LSRY2K Email List who would like a mechanism to contact others in their state/province who are preparing for Y2K or interested in preparing for Y2K. States/provinces and contacts are listed below. If your state does not have a contact person, and, you'd like to be a state contact person, email us at selfreliance@softhome.net.

We also encourage all participants to subscribe to the LSRY2K Email List. The "State Contact Program" is designed to supplement the LSRY2K list, not replace it.

If you'd like to contact your state contact person, simply click on their email address and send them a message. Using "anonymous email" (such as a yahoo address) is fine. If you have not heard back from your state contact person within one week, or have some other complaint, contact us at selfreliance@softhome.net.

State contact persons are expected to respond to contacts within one week. State contact persons are expected to maintain a list of those who contact them and devise a method for those persons to get in touch with each other by email, through a discussion list or other methods. State contact persons may remain anonymous on the web page, but are expected to provide their name and physical location to LSRY2K (it will be kept confidential if you wish). State contact persons are expected to keep their list of contacts confidential, and must not use their contact list for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial, except to facilitate those persons getting in touch with each other. (In other words, if a state contact person uses their list of contacts for ANY purpose not agreed upon by ALL contact persons in writing, they will be replaced. )State contact persons are expected to adhere to the policies of the Libertarian Self Reliance in the Face of Y2K web page and email list; ie, to promote self reliance in preparation for Y2K without government intervention, and to avoid political, philosophical or religious debate.
