Windows 98 is now the hot thing in town so I thought I would publish my Enhancements for the Windows 95 Start Up disk. When you are installing Windows 98 you will be asked if you wish to make a Start Up disk. It is a good idea to go ahead and make the disk.
Basically the disk is a bootable disk with a few DOS utilities that can be used for get a hard drive up and running. The Start Up disk has utilities like FDISK, FORMAT and SCANDISK as well as others.
My Enhancements are simply a group of batch files and scripts that automate some of the most often used functions of the Windows 98 Start Up disk. Their is a menu that allows you to easily pick the function you wish to perform and with two key strokes execute these functions.
