OZONE DEPLETION
AAC is 100% ozone-safe. Using NO CFCs, NO HCFCs and NO HFCs, this technology helps reduce dangerous stratospheric ozone depletion, which threatens people, plants and animals with excessive ultraviolet radiation.
GLOBAL WARMING / CLIMATE CHANGE
AAC also helps mitigate global warming and climate change by substantially reducing direct and indirect release of CO2. AAC systems use no CO2, and no HFCs, a potent greenhouse gas. In addition, energy-efficient AAC slashes fuel consumption and the resulting

VehiCool AAC systems require 90% LESS ENERGY than comparable refrigerant or vapor compression
systems. The result is fuel savings of about 1 US gallon, per hour of operation. Annual fuel savings can be 1000-4000 gallons per bus, depending on the local climate.
