We still have out Cadillac, this is a great car, some day we may buy a Rolls as a second car. When we need our Rolls fixed we'll take to to the garage.

For those of you that like to drive fast. Take a tour of the following sites:

Thrust SSC (Super Sonic Car) and Andy Green have set a new World Land Speed Record of 763.035mph (Mach 1.02) through the measured mile on October 15, 1997, at Black Rock desert in Nevada, USA. It has two Rolls Royce jet engines as motors.

The Spirt of America, is organizing themselves for another challenge to beat the British. They reached a speed of 675 mph. before it was damaged in an attempt to break the record in November 1996. Believe it or not Craig Breedlove was unhurt.



The old world land speed record holder, the Trush II which was driven by Richard Noble at 633.47 mph in 1983.

There are two other groups that are after the WLS record:
 

The Aussie Invader III from Australia owned and driven by Rosco McGlasham.

and the other from the U.S.A. the North America Eagle One , which is partly Canadian owned.
