After far too long, the site has been updated. Several new reviews
and updates have been added to the Barber Shop Listing. Seven new
pages have been added to the Experiences section. Two new pages have
been added to the Gallery. There are still more photos and shop listings
waiting to be added to the site, as well as a large number of discussion
items for "In the Chair...". Stay tuned for more updates soon.

It's been a month since the last update, and there is still a backlog of
items waiting to be posted to the site. This update, "In the Chair..."
includes a newsletter, plus a view of how Buzztown looked in the beginning.

An all new format of "The Buzz" readers forum has been launched. Due to
the amount of work required with the new look forum, there are no other
updates this week.

The Buzztown Survey form has been modified to work with the Microsoft Internet
Explorer 3.0 browser. A response has been added to the comments about the
future of the barber shop has been added to "In the Chair...". Two new
barbers and one update have been added to the "Barber Shop Listing" page.

Lots of new things this time. Read one Buzztowner's opinion about the future
of barber shops in a new article in the "In the Chair..." section. Read
another reader's comments about the atmosphere of the barber shop in the
"Experiences" section. There are now two new photos in "The Gallery" -
a cool high and tight flattop from one reader and a new barber shop scene.

through the end of November, and hopefully as many readers as possible

Two special new additions to the website this time. Both of these contributions
were written by Buzztown Barber Shop visitors. Firstly there is a review
of an instructional videotape on cutting flattops. The second addition
is a true short describing the experiences that one young man had with
an eager barber. Thanks to both of these guys for their contributions.
Hopefully it might also encourage other Buzztown regulars to share their
experiences or other information with the rest of us.
This update also includes some new entries in the "Barber Shop Listing"

Finally, some new photos. The Buzztown mailbox has been experiencing problems
receiving pictures attached to messages. I've found a work-around so that
I can get the graphics out. Also this edition, there updates to "The Cuts

area. The original "Introduction" section has been restructured and renamed
"In the Chair...". This page will be used to include small items of general
information such as cutting techniques, current styles, the development
of the Buzztown Barber Shop site and short hair in general. Please keep
those ideas, barber shop reviews and product reviews coming in.

The Buzztown Barber Shop site was first posted on January 1. I didn't publicize
the site at all until January 3, when I posted a message on the Hairnet
Hotline. In the following 24 hours, this site had almost 90 visitors, and
I've had some positive comments from people who are interested in this
site and a couple of contributions (photos from one source and a barber
shop listing from another source). Thank you to those people. I have now
added two photos into the Gallery section, updated "The Cuts and Other
Terms Defined" section to also point to those photos and I've added the
barber shop listing. I've also added this page which I will use to let
you know what's happening here at Buzztown.
