Business Drag

Head & Shoulders - above the rest? I got my 15 minutes......in Annie's Gallery

There are rules of how to dress during business hours - I call it Business Drag. If everybody does it at the same time no one gets noticed. It's a kind of theatrical performance. The best performers can claim success if the audience doesn't even notice that a show is happening right in front of them.

When you're out in public, are you a performer or a member of the audience?

With Long Red Sweater

Here are the only pictures I could find of me wearing a suit. Very business-like don't you think? I took the afternoon off and headed for the pier. Not for sailing or fishing. Maybe I was after some really fresh sushi and a really cold martini.

Shopping at Pier One? Just another suit at the pier

I told you I was tall, but this picture makes me look even taller. When you're my height, it doesn't matter much if you add an extra inch or two with high heels. And they do make my big feet look a little smaller.

Purple and White - Blouse and Skirt

Sure, I have some four-inch pumps in my closet - I save them for power dressing. Since I almost never need THAT much power I can't show you any pictures of me wearing them. Sorry.
However, if you click on the picture you'll see some other unflattering pictures of me.
