09/27/1998 Denmark: This year's Danish coin set (which contains 3 holed coins)
will be released in early October. Issue limit for number of sets: 25,000.
Price: 125 Norwegian Krone.
Norway: A NEW 5-krone center-holed coin will be available in September.
The new coin's obverse depicts the chain of the Norwegian order of
St. Olaf with the legend "KONGERIKET NOREG". The reverse motif is Akantus-type
ornamentation with date and denomination.
This new Norwegian center-holed coin is available in a special package
featuring the painting "Solhell" by Gunnvor Advocaat. Proof sets and
uncirculated sets are also available from the mint.

China has issued two holey coins in 1998:
10 Yuan 1998, Ag .925, 31.10 g, BU
10 Yuan 1998, Au .999, 3.11 g, BU
Both coins are round and have a square central hole.
