My life time research goal will be focused on human language engineering to break down language barriers.
I hope in the borderless world, every people of all nations would understand and help each other.
The people in developed countries live with abundant food, nice clothes, good heath cares services and public education services, but the people in underdeveloped countries do not enjoy such like those. At one side too much we have, but at the other side we are in desperation. I think the reason why that we does not understand each others is the language barrier. With the communications cross the language barrier, I think we can have more oppotunities to have compassions for others and we could help others if we choose to do so. Science and Technology were the engines that we provide ourselves with industrial goods and more agricultural products. With the understanding each other cross the language barrier, the engines would be available for the needy people. The hinderance is the language border.
Language Engineering is a Symphony of Linguists, Computer Scientists, Psychologists, and Software Engineers. I'm sure Language Engineering would contribute to breaking the barriers and I devote my self to it.
At first, the software that aids the bible translators must be improved so that they discover all human language. They will make the Word meaningful in each languages and the bible will help the people to know the Lord's love. Second, translations of important books which are the heritages of human being have to be available for the all human kinds. They will learn the good lessons froom human history. If all Science and technology could be shared, each people would enjoy them and use them to develop their society. Third, I'm sure every people have gotten the gifts from the Lord. Even though the people in developed country could share the gifts which the Lord gave to the people in under developed country.
Hereby I want to make sure what shoes I will put on to walk the way;
Left shoe : Linguistics,
Right Shoe : Software Engineering.
For the short term goal, I will train myself to be a good software engineer. To develope practical software, I will brush my skills in industrial environment. With the skill I will tackle more things.
