I found it very informative, however in the area in whitch I live several agencies such as EMS,Police,Fire in the greater Cleveland area have switched to a digital signal whereby making scanners obsolete. I would like to know if there is anything currently on the market or in the works by scanner manufacturers to accomidate this new technology. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. |

Did you register your site with them, or does GEO city do it for you. Also i was looking for a site that might have info, on the "cellular" frequencies, I have the PRO-60 handheld, and I think it has the chip in it or somthing that rules out those transmissions. I heard there is a modifacation you can do to the scanner, to e able to listen to them. Know anything about it or heard about it? Also every once in awhile on the arlington, police\fire etc. I get static transmission noises on those frequecies, like IM picking up their mobile computers or somthing its very annoying! I have to lock the channel out for a while wiat till it goes away, nd then unlock it to listen to them talk again, dispatch or whatever.... Mail me back please if you can help..... |
