Return

The Doom Generation a little movie Gregg Araki made in 1995. In the opening credits, Araki announces this is his "Heterosexual Film", although there is a lot of homoeroticism between James Duval as White and Johnathon Schaech as Red. Rose McGowan is Blue. (For you het boys, Rose shows her tits in this one).

The film features among other things, a guy getting his head blown off. The head, still talking, lands in a plate of hotdogs complete with all the condiments, relish and onions. Also a guy gets his arm blown off. Parker Posey does a cameo as an agressive lesbian circa 1980, judging from her costume and hair.

The film climaxes with Blue getting raped and White getting murdered by a bunch of neo-nazis whose costumes consist of white atheletic sox worn,uh......strategically.

The box cover and the pre-credit credit states 11 minutes were cut from the film without the director's permission in order to get an R instead of an NC-17.

The film contains two of the best lines I have ever heard:

White says to Blue, "I feel like a gerbil smothering in Richard Gere's butthole."

Blue says to Red, "You're like a life support system for a cock."
