"Office Space" is yet another testament ot the brilliance of Mike Judge. The film is based on the animated shorts he used to do on Saturday Night Live, called "Milton." Don't remember them? Well, they concerned a meek, put-upon office worker forced to suffer various petty indignities by his bosses. Milton would just mumble a lot in protest, and often concluded these mumblings by asserting, under his breath, that he could burn this place down any time he wanted.

The "Milton" character shows up in Office Space in what appears to be a very minor supporting role, but you're always sort of aware of this annoying, mumbling troglodyte. Keep your eye on him.

The main character is Peter Gibbons, played wonderfully by what IMO is a major new talent, Ron Livingston. (?) He's got a great underplayed comic manner, a terrific deadpan.

Jennifer Aniston shows up as his love interest, and does her best work ever. (Well, I've only seen her in Picture Perfect and Friends, but still.)

Just a fucking hilarious movie. Can't praise it enough. Go see it.
