I watched a later installment in this series recently - "Tightrope." Clint Eastwood plays a divorced father of two and homicide detective in New orleans who has a penchant for prostitutes. The prostitutes begin to be murdered, shortly after being visited by Eastwood. He's not Dirty Harry in this one. Rather, he's a bit of a scared rat, as he realizes that his paramours are being killed, yet he cannot speak about his link. Correspondingly, Genevieve Bujold (who is really more attractive as an older woman) is the rape crisis counselor who tries to assist Eastwood, both professionally and emotionally.
