Erin Brokovich was enjoyable. Sure it was a crusader film in the mold of Silkwood, but I liked the fact that Brokovich is successful largely because of the huge amount of work she put into the case, not that she has some god-hero qualities. Ditto for the attorney. Neither do we get to see some evil mastermind from PG&E as a cartoon character. Its just a faceless entity- which made things very real to me.
