Return

My wife and I rented The Matrix just the other night. I wasn't going to comment on it since I figured it was old news, but I see some talking about it now. My wife doesn't like SciFi that much, so this was a pick by me.

The romance at the end was great. Maybe I am thinking too much on this one, but it pointed out to me that humans will ALWAYS beat AIs because of the "love factor." Reeves returned because of the mystical bond of love, and that showed that human beings as emotional creatures are superior to AIs.

Weaving was a great character I thought. I have only seen him in some Aussie movie with Nicole Kidman, "The Bangkok Hilton." Actually, I didn't know it was him until the credits at the end of the film. Very credible villian I thought.

I enjoyed the movie and wish I had seen it in the theatre.
