Return

Grade A entertainment from Pixar and Disney. Superior to Antz in many ways: plot, characters and humor.

Computer graphics: leaps above Toy Story, and although expected, they delivered.

Story delivery: good, very good. Used actual ant characteristics as part of the story about the colony, like when a leaf falls in front of one of the ants in a line and he can't figure out what to do. Chaos. Also the story didn't focus on just a few main characters, but involved many, including a cast of circus bugs that were quintessential Disney supporting characters. In other words, good stuff, very funny.

Humor: heaps of it. I won't give away the story or the jokes, but will only say don't leave the theater before seeing all the credits or you'll miss one of the cleverist parts of the movie.

For those having to take in family fare, or who like computer animation, this is a very enjoyable few hours of fluff and stuff.
