I saw a wonderful movie last night, all the more wonderful for
being a complete surprise as I didn't expect much from it going
into the theater. Bruce Willis's _The Sixth Sense_ is a
psychological thriller that may or may not be a ghost story (the
ambiguity on this point is important for much of the story).
Bruce Willis gives a very good, understated performance, but the
person who steals the show plays the role of a boy named Cole. He
gives the best performance I have ever seen any kid give.
I don't want to say anymore about the movie because the ending is
one of the biggest surprises I've seen in a film. It'll simply
knock you flat.
