Return

Saw Charlie's Angels last night. The story is about as silly as they come, and missed a lot of obvious ways it could have been improved, but what carried the film was the action choreography and a sense of just how much fun the three leads were having, particularly Cameron Diaz.

However, my brother and I were re-editing the picture afterwards. We decided that they made a mistake crosscutting the three separate plot threads in the climax, and should have shown them sequentially, with certain events occuring to show that the scenes were really happening simultaneously (such as the bell dropping from the bell tower - in one scene we see it land, and the subsequent scene we see what made it fall).

And Crispin Glover made for a fun villain. Recommended, but check your brain at the door.
