took in Charlie's Angels this saturday night. this is gonna be a big hit. it has all the makings of a hit. hot babes in too revealing outfits, explosions, cool cars, evil villains, Matrix-style fighting, little plot with a couple requiste "twists" thrown in, some screwball moments, all topped off with some oh-garsh style romance.
but with Berrymore, Diaz, & Liu looking fuckable in every shot, who the hell cares? hell, i'm gay and still couldn't take my eyes off the screen.
i really enjoyed it. very fun, lite (no, not light) movie that understands that it's silly ecsapism.
anyway, i was surprised. this was, for my money, a better "spy movie" than "M:I 2" - and i'd take Cruise any day of the week.
