Rented "The Opposite of Sex" this
past long weekend. I've just gone back and reread the reviews on
CalGal's site, and I pretty much agree. Some points:
- Kudrow's character was irritating enough,
but her voice added to the mix was just a bit too much.
I'm glad she isn't a regularly prominent character on
"Friends" now. However, she preformed the part
of the bothersome busybody well, so I can't really
complain.
- The beautiful "boyfriend" of the
main character came off as a bit forced. I just couldn't
believe he wanted Ricci's character at all. Totally
didn't buy it.
- Ricci was fantastic as the main bitch.
I'll look for more stuff with her in it.
- I LOL'ed at the guy with the one ball and
a Southern accent so thick even I had trouble
understanding it. Great stuff.
- I thought the guy who played the main
character was great. I absolutely adored his character.
From correcting graffiti on the bathroom wall to putting
up with Kudrow, he really delivered.
This is a great renter that I have no problems
recommending to most anyone.
