as being one of the few posters here low-brow enough, i caught a showing of "Road Trip" this past weekend. as one would expect, it had several very funny scenes stringed together with more weak/failed ones by a feeble "plot" - but, hell, it was one still more believeable than M:I 2.

two things stand out to me about this movie experience. i liked the frat guys in the audience better than the actors in the movie and tom green is every bit as annoying on the big screen as he is on MTV.

i read some reviews and disagree that "Road Trip" isn't this year's "Something...Mary" or "American Pie". it is only by default. i don't see any other movies going after the sexually perverse and/or suppressed teenagers with some gross-out comedy mixed-in. but, maybe i haven't been paying attention.

anyway, this movie would make a decent renter if, and only if, you are 1) in the mood for a stupid & funny movie and 2) you have consumed at least half of the required amount of alcohol necessary to make you drunk.
