Anybody seen a new little German film called Beyond Silence?
Nobody in it whom I have heard of, but it's a charming film. The
director also played the mother of the female lead who played a
musically talented teenager both of whose parents were deaf
mutes. The movie explored relationships among the family
including the grandparents and a musician aunt who had no
children and involved herself in the muscial development of the
girl. I would think the movie would be a must-see for deaf people
but with appeal for others also.
