Saw two movies last week, both enjoyable--Chocolat and You Can Count on Me. Although I enjoyed Chocolat, mostly because of Juliette Binoche, I think it has been over-rated and somewhat misrepresented by the hype as more erotic than it is (not very). Contrary to some reviews it does not compare favorably with Like Water Like Chocolate. The similarities are superficial. Like Water, in my opinion, is a much better movie. Chocolat is an enjoyable piece of fluff.
