8/9/98: Last month or so I became the happy owner of a Plextor 4x12 cd copier. Let me tell you this has turned out to be the funest attachment so far. Well worth getting one. Of course it didn't install without the usual fight. This install took a little longer then usual, like 3weeks! Long story short Dan Matters discovered that my system didn't like the 2920 scsi host adaptor card and we put in a 2940 and bingo bango installo no problemo. (heheheeh that worked) It was one of the nightmares we all have with our systems but dang 3 weeks ......... !

8/14/98: Well now from lurking in #windows 98 on irc efnet I have come to the conclusion that if you don't need the extra space don't install fat 32.

8/20/98: Well at least Clinton can kick ass when it is needed. Did a defrag and scandisk today and all is well. Also make a cd of all the neat programs ive downloaded for my neice. This had a lot of nice programs on it so i make somemore copies to have on hand. Makes it easyer to set up someones computer for the net. If your reading this most likely you have most of them already.

8/25/98: No good computer stuff Oh I'm playing cheap and I downloaded adobe Photo Shop 5.0 from a warez channel on irc/efnet and the dang crack that supplied the serial number will not work. It never goes easy does it!

8/29/98: HMMMMMM well I changed the color on the 'S on the index page. Hey gotta do sumthin. My computer is booting and not seeing my plextor cdr (my cd copier) I reboot and then it sees it. Wonder what that is about? Well will put off finding out till my cdr doesnt get recignized on the reboot!!! Heeheheh I did a defrag on my C:\ and did it need it. Don't tell all the people i harrass cause they dont defrag reguraly. :) Hey I tried Phone Free at my buddy Bills suggestion and found it worked a lot better than Net meeting.

Sept8 Today I met Darksheer and he was very helpful in showing me some of skulls secrets. Oh boy the fun is to come. Defraged today. Voxphone rocks. I'll use it instead of freephone.Oh yah I failed to report that maxtor sent me a 3.2 gig to replace my 1.6 gig :). I da winner!!!

Sept 9 Well another day and I didn't messup my computer, what more could you ask for.

Sept14, Well another week is underway, and what have we accomplished hmmmmmmmmmmmmm? heeheeheh not much but had a hell of a lot of fun heeheheheh. My Friend from aussieland is helping me a lot with my skull work. Ive loaded the backup software for my colorado tape backup. Now I'm gonna program a daily back up of my programs i work with all the time. I mean come on there is now reason to lose stuff anymore. EVERONE WHOSE SPOUSE HATES THEIR COMPUTER RAISE THEIR HAND! ehehehehe.

Sept22, Lots of fun. My ISP said $20 and 150 hours a month, I said goobye mci and hello Crystal Vision at $49 one time membership and then $9.99 a month unlimited. So far I connect faster to cvis then mci..... Increased my sdram to 128megs and upgraded to a zoltrex 56k flex modem. only took me two days to get the modem working. Windows 98 told all nooks and crannies that I had installed a new 56k modem, excepted the dialup connection. It was set to the old standard modem. I hit the dropdown window and there was my 56k and tada im online again.

Sept23, today I tried to hook my logitech surfman wireless mouse up with my other other logitech mouse. This was done by useing a splitter. Didn't work in fact it made my printer want to load a paper on boot. well i saw my printers reset button flashing but ignored it heheheheheheh big mistake. My modem wouldn't work till i hit the printer reset. Well I finaly did this and im back online. Aren't computers fun ........

Sept26, Wow what fun. I put VoxPhone 3.0 on the site as a download. The trial version is no longer available at VoxPhone.com so I put it here for all to have. Plus at 1.7 megs itis a bear to email or icq to someone. Had to download and use a ftp program to load the file cause geocites uploader times out if file is this big.

Oct8, Well what fun we have with our toys. I have my live webcam set up now and runnig is neat. but like all things is not perfect yet. To see the next picture hit reload. If that doesnt work ehhehehe Im not online. Only bummer thing is i had to unhook my extra monitor for the irq. I may get a usb vid cam and free up the irq. Having two monitors is just too handy. The software to run the live web cam is called camshot from broadgun.com.

October12, Well Looks like my acer cdrom 32x just took a dump on me. I set it and my cdr up to copy a cd and went to bet. Next morning i find the cd blank not finished and a message asking for a source disk to be loaded in the cdrom under discussion. Well i rmoved it and tryed to reload it and windows 98 refuses to seeeeeeeee it. Bummer. I'm also trying to make a second system out of my old tower and a 5x86 mother board. the dang thing wont see my hd. I think it is in the bios. Am gonna call the bios people and ask what they think. Wish me luck. I put a link to my live web cam on my web site. I have up date the link everytime i go online, but is the best solution I can come up with .

October 21, Well Ive succeded in learning how to stuff on cracks. Also have decided to replace my video cam with a usb video cam. I'm doing this cause it will free up a irq and then i can reado my duel monitors. I've hit a standstill on rebuilding my 5x86 it seems either the mb is bad or the bios is. So a new mb is in order but you can hardly find them. If i get a better mb well the hole just gets deaper so I think I will just wait till my pocket book gets in better shape and purchase a pentium 200 mmx for my second sys. I do so want to have a second sys to experiment with and set up a network.
