News Update October 2004

So much for quick moves... Patrick arrived at the end of August, and is firmly ensconced in Magdalen College School in Brackley, Northamptonshire. Playing rugby, and starting to play for the Buckingham club as well. We moved into a 3 bedroom house in Brackley in mid-September. This puts me about 20 minutes drive from work, and Patrick in easy walking/cycling distance from school. Furniture is still sparse, but we live comfortably. Big change from the studio flat to a house!- even if it is an English sized house. It seems we have finally overcome all the hurdles in the way of the family joining us. Hopefully Adrienne and the rest of the kids will be here by Christmas. If not, Patrick and I will go to Harare for Christmas, and they will join us in the New Year. We continue to do a few trips. Went to Brighton and Bournemouth last weekend. That was very pleasant, and the weather was kind. Nice to be on the beach. Otherwise we are just getting used to the weather, especially with winter coming and the days getting shorter! More photos to come as soon as I have time.
