My Father
My father, Mr. E.P.Kunhahammed Master, a retired Lower Primary School Teacher, aged 60 is born in Veliankode. After completing his secondary education, he was trained in the Malappuram Teacher's Training School. At the age of 18 he got job as a teacher in a Lower Primary School in Purangu, a small village in the Ponnani Taluk. He worked there about 35 years, and retired as a Head Teacher. His father, my grand father also a teacher and Islamic Scholar, Mr. Ahammed Musliyar, who passed away during my father's younger time.
Now and past, my father is a active social and religious worker in our area. He is the Secretary of our Mahallu Jama'ath, the social body to maintain and uplift the social and economic standard of Muslim community in the Veliankode area. The shrine of famous freedom fighter, poet and Islamic scholar Sheikh Ummer Khadi (RA) is situated infront of the Veliankode Juma-masjid. The ruling and protection of this Maqam and Masjid is under this committee.
By the income of Maqam and Masjid they are running some religious and educational Institutions, and giving financial help for the needy, poor villagers. One English Medium School and Secondary Madrassa (Islamic School) are running successfully under this committee. They are aiming to start more institutions, such as Orphanage, Islamic and Arabic Higher College, Hospital, Industrial Training Centre etc.. As a secretary, my father is involved in their activities.
My Mother
My mother Mrs. Ayisha is a house wife, who born in Veliankode and grown in Puthu Ponnani of Ponnani Taluk. As a mother she has a great impact on my character development and my curricular activities. She is in our home, helping my sisters and brothers intheir educational and character development.
My Sisters
I have two sisters, Mrs Suhra, my elder and Miss Bushra Thasneem my younger. My elder sister has got married and she has two children Lubaba and Mohammed Faiz. She is not a working women, takes care of her children in their home.
The younger sister, Bushra, is studying for her higher secondery course, after completing her secondery school course.
My Brothers
I have two brothers also, they are my youngers. Mr. Mohmmed Basheer, who completed his higher secondery course in computer science, is seeking admission in degree course. He is very interested in Information Technology and doing some software programming.
The younger brother, Ahmmed Mukhthar is in his school level, is very smart in his educational and exta curriculur activities.
