RF calculations
RF sheet can be used to perform the following tasks:
1. Determine the number of channel, given the frequency of
channel.
2. Determine the frequency of channel, given the number of
channel.
Calculations are available for GSM, NMT and AMPS cellular standards.
3. Determine the propagation loss, given the heights of BS and
MS antennas, the distance, the frequency and the type of the
area.
4. Determine the MS recieve power, given the power of BS
transmitter, the parameters (height, gain) of BS and MS antennas,
the distance and the type of area.
Calculations are available for free space, two-wave and Hata's models of propagation.
