Elena is a young Ukraïnian women,capable of speaking Russian and Dutch. She also understands Ukraïnian and English.She was born in Ukraïna in 1966. Here parents were hard workers in the rural country. They were labouring in a colchose in the region of Zaparosjije.

Her father, Leonid, died when Elena was young.
Her mother died when she was studying in Kiev.

She studied for engineer in plastics at the Polytechnical Institute of Kiew.
She had a wonderful time at the institute. A good tradition among the students was gathering evenings for singing songs and playing the guitar.

In the late ninetees, she lived in Simferopol, where she liked to go walking in the park as much as possible.
At the age of 31 she gave birth to Valentin and was married to Erik Demuyt.
In Belgium she studied Dutch in the City School for Adult Education
