Dave, Val.... and J!!

Here's Val and Jasper, our dog, sitting on the steps at home. This picture is my favorite picture of my two favorite people... and if your thinking, hey Dave, Jasper's a dog not a person... well that just goes to show that your probably not a dog owner. Val looks rather happy, even though she was headed out the door for work on a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon. The picture is from 11/98 and Jasper has grown some since then, but he's not really that much bigger now. As you can see Jasper's not really photogenic, his fur is so black that every picture of him turns out looking like a black splotch with two eyes and a tongue; but hey, that a cute tongue isn't it!?

And speaking of tongues, here's Dave (me) and Jasper. This picture is a self portrait, and happens to be one of the first pictures I took with my digital camera. And people say two males can't kiss... well Jasper proves that theory wrong!!

Here is the Osborne clan. From left to right is Don and Flo ( my dad and mom ), and of course Val and me. Dad and Mom moved to Virginia in May of 1998, joining Val and me down here in the Old Dominion. They had lived in central Pennsylvania for the previous 26 years, buy they finally decided to retire and move close to thier future grandkids! This picture was taken during our Thanksgiving dinner in 1998.

And speaking of grandkids, there just so happens to be one on the way!!

It will be our first child, my parents first grandchild, and Val's parents fourth grandchild. So far we've been calling the baby "J". The J could turn out to be Jessica (mommy's wish ) or John ( Dad's wish ), and based on our first sonogram we think we're going to be welcoming a healthy baby Jessica into the world in late August. You can view J's first pictures on the new and improved "J-Page", and remember to check frequently for J updates. You can reach "J" by email at daveosborne@geocities.com.

To properly see the electronic version of "J", above, you will have to load the ThingMaker plugin. Once you do so, you will be able to tickle "J" by moving your mouse over her, but if you left click you'll make "J" cry !!
