Max Jayapaul's Cyberport Home Page

Hello and welcome to my web-site. I have collected tidbits of information , resources and links regarding topics of interest such as computers, electronics, the UFO phenomenon, paranormal activities and Sci-Fi movies from that cauldron of information called the Internet and placed them on my site for your surfing pleasure. The web-site idea initially sprang up when I was trying out HTML. Hopefully I plan to spruce it up with some Java applets and possibly some ActiveX objects using Java and VBScript respectively, when I get time. So surf through and please send your comments to me. I made the web pages deliberately inconsistent to test out some gif images and back-ground images.

OK. A little into about myself. I'm an Indian national but I was born and brought up in the island state of Bahrain (search for the Arabian Gulf on a World Map and you should find it there!) where I am currently working as a Software Developer at AEGIS Insurance Services in Jersey City, United States working with tools like ATG, Java, XML, Verity and Documentum. Due to the intense nature of the work (staring at the computer screen for most of the time!), I took up a few hobbies like flying a F22 Raptor (on the computer), investigating UFO sightings (over the Internet) and watching Sci-Fi movies (on DVDs and on Comcast cable TV - the SciFi channel on Ch 50 being my favorite!) but I can't seem to be away from computers for some reason or another. Since I'm usually surrounded by inanimate objects, I like to interact with like-minded individuals and share info (preferably through email -- oops! computers again!).

Further more, if you are a former student of the Indian School, Bahrain or Karunya Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, please do contact me. I was planning to scan snapshots of our school and college and put it up here. And I could put up your home page links to my Personal Links page and have something like a virtual Alumni Club in Cyberspace! The World Map shows the location of our buddies around the globe. (No, I'm not using NSA's Keyhole satellites to track them!)

And last but not the least, Marhaba ("Hello" in Arabic) to my former colleagues at Pace Computers, Marthandam, DATAMAS, Kuwait and at Daleel Documentum, Bahrain. I've put snaps that I took during my stay in Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai, U.A.E.,  the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, London, UK, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago, United States and my native district Kanya Kumari, India in this site, so be sure to look at them!
