Newsletter for Year's 2000-2006
During year 2,000 we had fun with the family at different activities. We went on May to Copamarina's Resort Hotel located on the Southwest corner of Puerto Rico. The environment is very inviting to go swimming to the Hotel's swimming pools and/or the beach within a walking distance. We played volleyball, went kayaking and had a great time at Gilligan Island where the water is crystal clear, beautiful mangroves, and the fauna is very interesting. Nice water channels are temptation for small boats and kayaking. Is relaxing and during the month of May is very attractive and had a beautiful weather. The Resort provides with an excellent restaurant with cultural activities throughout the week-end. There is also many Restaurants within a reasonable drive distance from the Hotel for a change.
On November the whole family got together in Orlando, Florida. It was fun to get together with relatives living in near-by areas. For the ThanksGiving Day we had a terrific party with all the family reunited. We went to many of the Disney attractions, like Seaworld, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and had fun riding in a variety of machines. I dared to climb on the Russian Mountain. We had an unforgetable esperience and took pictures to keep that event alive.
Disney World is about one complete day for each attraction and you have to be prepared to walk a lot and in good health. Once you are in the premises of Disney World you have to get the maximum out of it. Unless you prefer to take it easy and come back later.
This year, on May 20 was the big surprise for the Colons. All the children got together in Cynthia's house (youngest daughter) to celebrate our 50 Year Anniversary. It was something out of this world because we did not realize, what was going to happen. All the kids were waiting for us there and it was a big celebration. They contracted a Mexican Mariachi and even all the neighbors around the house had the benefit of the music and the happiness in the environment. Thanks God for such a miracle. We really enjoy everything! We here express our big satisfaction to every kid of us. God bless you all!
