Summary :

  I am looking for job opportunities in the Information Technology field, and I created this Web version of my  resume with a hope that it may increase my chances of being considered by companies searching for applicants for permanent positions with solid Windows development skill set . I am presently working for the Ministry of Housing, Municipalities, and Environment in Bahrain as a computer systems analyst . I have more than 11 years of software development experience, and I am interested  to work as Applications developer, Systems Analyst or Software Engineer. I specialize in Client/server using Delphi as GUI programming tool, accessing industry standard databases such as Oracle. I can also write programs using other languages such as Visual Basic, C, Pascal, Assembly and Developer 2000.
Here are some of the things that I can do :
-- develop software on client/server platform using object oriented tools such as Delphi 4 client/server Enterprise edition. Client side may be Windows 95/98/NT graphical user interface accessing backend server database such as Oracle 7 or 8.
-- write Dynamic Link Libraries (DLL), routines with API calls and server side stored procedures.
-- program server side compiled ISAPI, NSAPI DLLs, CGI Common Gateway Interfaces which will respond to Internet browsers queries.
--  write e-commerce applications involving Internet cookies such as shopping carts.
-- write compiled dynamic internet guest books, similar to popular GuestWorld guest books.
-- write programs that can send and receive e-mails.
-- write FTP programs which can upload or download data on an Internet site.
-- create Internet web sites using HTML

Educational background  :

  I finished a 5-year College Degree in Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Mindanao State University-Iligan  Institute of Technology,  in the Philippines, 1979-1984. My college education dealt mainly on computer hardware, software,  programming and digital communications.

Professional license obtained :
    Registered Electronics and Communications Engineer
  at Professional Regulation Commission of the Philippines.

Skills :

    As a software developer for years, I am capable of developing
  GUI programs in Windows 95/NT that will process almost all
  industry standard back-end  databases  such as Oracle, Informix,
  Sybase and SQL server. My knowledge in SQL enables me to
  incorporate queries into my programs to access relational
  databases. Computer languages that I used in software
  development include Delphi 1,2,3,4 client/server, Delphi 3
  professional edition, Visual Basic 4, C, and Pascal.
  I can program highly specialized applications with my
  strong background on assembly language. I can also do Internet
  Web Homepages using Front Page 98.
     As an electronics and communications engineer, I am also
  knowledgeable on computer hardware. My expertise in software,
  hardware and communications makes me a unique case.
  I can isolate and solve computer related problems much better.

    Program title : Surveyor System.
    Environment : client/server. GUI developed in Delphi,
                  back-end database :  Oracle 7
    Description : This system integrates survey computation
                  tool (Surveyor 4) and database management (Dataman).
        Surveyor 4 allows users the following :
             -- query and extract parcels and points from Oracle database.
             -- do sophisticated  computations to establish points
                on the  ground.
             -- create, edit parcels by clicking points on screen.
             -- plot parcels, and points to screen, plotter or printer
                using different scales, zooms.
             -- upload finalized data to the server.
             -- allows data entry manually or through data loggers.
             --  import and export ASCII data.
        Dataman is a database maintenance utility for parcels and points.
    note : I single-handedly developed Surveyor system.
              Surveyor is so impressive that I have been awarded recently
              for excellence and creativity by the Ministry of Housing,
              Municipalities and  Environment in Bahrain.
              I am willing to send screen dumps of Surveyor 4

    Program title : Mahavision 4
    Environment : stand-alone or client/server. GUI developed in Delphi,
                  supports industry standard databases.
    Description : Mahavision is a presentation package with Arabic support.
           It allows users to do the following :
              -- query databases using SQL to display records.
              --   access and show Internet sites, HTML pages
              -- show images using a number of transitions.
              -- playback sounds in *.wav and midi format.
              -- show video files in *.avi and *.mpg format.
              -- show text using some effects.
              -- show global times
              -- show animated images.
