The TSCA will undergo some changes soon. President Robert (Bob) Green sent out a letter explaining the changes. We have also posted the information below.

FROM: THE PRESIDENT

Hello to All TSCA Members,

As you are probably aware, our Association has had very little activities in the past year. This is due in part to the same core group of members are finding their time to be more consumed with work and other activities and no new volunteers to take over routine activities. We have tried now for more than several years to recuite not only new members but members who can assist in carrying out the functions of the Association. We have failed and must now admit to ourselves that we can no longer function as we had hoped.

But all is not found and forgotten. Instead, we have stopped accepting membership fees and must close the Association's bank account. WE are investigating the legal requirements to remain a non-profit organization. If possible, we will end our relationship with our lawyer and provide NO services or benefits to past, current or new members except for maintaining the TSCA homepage. We must complete these actions as the Association has very little money and the cost of maintaining these activities will shortly consume all monies the Association has.

Current members and anyone who wishes may access the homepage at http://www.geocities.com/siliconvalley/haven/1310/index.html to check for job opportunities and to post resumes. We'll also try to keep a list of members and individuals may request the address of anyone on the list providing that individual has agreed for their info to be released.

The bulk of our membership appears to be in the Washington DC and Baltimore area. As such, the Association will attempt to have informal meetings and socials at no cost to the Association. Anyone coming to this area is encouraged and welcome to call either myself or any other member for details on upcoming events.

Perhaps in time the interest and ability of members will increase to a level that will support some type of benefits. If you have the time to work on Association business, please call Bob Green at (703) 818-1735 and leave a message.

This is the last hard copy of the newsletter the Association will be sending out unless things improve.

I have greatly enjoyed serving TSCA and the wonderful people who have worked so long and hard at trying to make it a success. It is now time for us to move on and let others pick up where we have stopped. I'll not try and name all the deserving individuals who deserve much credit, but they know who they are.

Enjoy life, it will give you what you seek if you'll only take the first step.

Your President,

Robert M. Green Sr.

The TSCA relies on you to keep us in the loop as to where the jobs are. We will pass the info on to those who want it. One way to get the word out is to keep this page current. We will be posting job openings in order, with the newest on top of the list. Hope to have this done within a week.

Get your resumes in. Please do not encrypt them. Make sure you give us an availability date. We have a lot of room for resumes and lots of employers needing good people.

*************************************************************************************************

If you have any pictures of places you have been, send them in and we will make a special section on the homepage for them. Group photos would be great. Send in some information on the photo to go with it, ie. names and location. For those of you who are still active, send in articles about changes that have been made to your facilities. The old timers love to hear from you.

Now that the association has access to the internet, we can tap into employment sources. Some of you do not have access to the internet, but do have access to e-mail.
