What's new in version 2.6
This version features a much improved GUI interface. The new improved
features are:

1. The file size limit for editing files is 2GB and
   not 64kb anymore!
2. You can use '^' and '$' characters to specify beginning and end of lines in regular expressions(not documented).
3. Specified text found in files are highlighted in red in both
   the Edit and Line Views!
4. Folder browse dialog now opens with selection at current directory.
5. Select All now works in FileView and in the Files List box.
6. Double-clicking a line in Line List scrolls the File Edit box to the
   corresponding line.
7. Replace can now be done on selected text.
8. Every text replace in each file can be confirmed by user for multi-file replace.
9. All temporary files cleaned up after multi-file replace.

Description
Find++ is a Windows utility written in Visual C that gives you a powerful and friendly tool to quickly search and replace text in multiple files. Find++ lists all the files matching your search criteria in all sub-directories or up to a user specified sub-directory depth. It then provides you with powerful commands with which you can quickly replace or edit all the occurrences of the specified text, saving you time and energy over conventional methods. Full context sensitive help on all Find++ topics helps you quickly grasp its simple user-friendly interface.

For a search you can specify multiple file names with or without wild-cards or you can just drag-drop files from the File Manager. File names can be fully or partially qualified. You can search for a case-sensitive, whole word or a Word 6 like regular expression match. You can specify an earliest and a latest file creation date as search criteria and also a minimum and maximum file size.

Find++ lists the files containing the search text in a multiple select list box with full file information like path, file size, and date of creation. You can search again through these listed files using different search criteria to narrow your search even further.

You can sort the listed files using the file name, size or date as the sorting key and you can specify the sort to be within or across directories. You can select and rename, delete, copy, move or zip any of these listed files. A new Rename command lets you rename multiple files using wildcards. You can also rename multiple files, like gifs, in a numbered sequence.!
