I am a computer programmer by trade and a physisist by vocation.
I graduated from St.Petersburg
Technical University (it was called Polytechnical Institute then and
the city was called Leningrad)
majoring in semiconductor physics and technology. Some more

before moving to Israel in 1990.

I started working in Servicesoft,
a company "Bringing Customer Service to Life on the Internet".
I am responsible for integrating company's award-winning LiveContact® product with customer support call centers.
Before that I worked at Efrat Future Technologies, known by its parent firm Comverse. I specialize in communications software, extensible frameworks and messaging software.
My previous working place is T.i.S. - an Israel-based software house producing high end document imaging solutions and image-enabled data entry systems. It was then that I traveled all over the world helping company's customers and designing custom solutions.
My wife Alexandra studied Physics in Jerusalem University. She then worked for a while for DenX - a small software start-up that is designing an imaging software for dental equipment. She spent nearly two years with Motorola Communications. She also worked at a cool place called i4i (Infrastructures for Information) doing XML tools for large documentation projects. And she is with Metamail now doing even cooler stuff.
We have a boy - Arkady. He was born on Oct. 16 '1996 and is the cutest boy this side of Universe. Keep tuned! His more recent picture here.

I am a great ski fun. Now that we live in Canada, finding a place to ski is easy. We usually go to Mount St. Louis / Moonstone resort. It is just an hour driving north from us. And the kids (4 and 6) are now old enough to join us. Other places in Ontario:
