"What do you mean? the Upper Pennisula?" Seems some people don't realize Michigan is
separated into 2 parts...connected via the Mackinac Bridge.

The Mackinac Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in the world..spanning 5 miles from end to end. Since it was built back in 1957 there have been only two fatalities in regards to vehicles going over the side of the bridge..into the murky waters below. Another thing I have never done..is walk the bridge on Labor Day..I think I better do the 5 miles while I can still walk..sounds like fun huh?

one of my favorite spots.......the Tahquamenon Falls..located in Paradise, Michigan. Just 45 minutes from my home town of Newberry. There are the Upper Falls...and Lower Falls.. gorgeous in the summertime..and breathtaking in the wintertime with a myriad of frozen colors.
