Databases are not sequences of flat two-dimensional tables as viewed by traditional database browsers. Take altitude and take advantage of the THIRD DIMENSION.

DBViewer is foreign keys aware, that gives you the power to navigate from table to table, jumping from master tables to detail tables, linking automatically reference tables. More generally speaking, DBViewer is database structure aware. That is : If your database structure change, the way DBViewer displays the data will change accordingly.

New features include enhanced customization capabilities.

The DBViewer component is a TBDEDataSet descendant that uses other instances of itself to allow insertions and updates of your data. Each reference table can be in turn explored in depth.

Navigation is made easy thanks to a TreeView that shows at each step all master tables and fields. Each TreeView can be customized to hide or move some tables and fields, or add constraints to reference tables.

Customizations are stored in registry to build almost instantly powerful demo application.

Currently interfaced database types are Oracle, Informix, MS SQL, Sybase, Interbase, DB2, Access, Paradox, and dBase. If you enjoy DBViewer and wish to use it with another database type, please let us know.
