Title

In your search for information regarding game programming in C/C++, you have stumbled into this humble-looking page. Nevertheless, you may find comfort in knowing that this page is quite thorough in covering its topic. However, if you are a master at game programming, this page may not satisfy your needs. Here we will be focusing on learning the beginning basics of game programming and programming concepts.

If you wish to dive into the art of programming games, but you don't know where to start, stick around. If you are already familiar with game programming, but you need additional information or maybe you would like to know the techniques that other programmers use, you should stay here. If you are just interested in programming in general, then this page is not... ah what the heck, welcome aboard.

If you are lost and don't know where to begin, go to the About section of my web site. There are some links there that can get you started in game programming.

After two years of leaving this page to idle statically I have decided to change a few things. Just some tiny details, you won't even notice it. I'm still around, still crazy as ever, and if you have any questions regarding programming, go ahead, write me. But I'm warning you, I haven't touched code in over two years. Two freaking years! You've been warned.

I gave my web site a major face-lift and improved several elements, such as font colors. I plan on adding more code and information files soon (within the next two days).

Unfortunately, there has been a considerable time gap in my programming. I haven't touched my compiler for a couple of weeks now. However, today I read a book on C++ and practiced a bit by writing some small programs. I plan on doing extensive reading within this week and returning to working on Rylith's Quest.

Today I updated the Code & Algorithm section by adding five more files. You should check those out. Unfortunatelly, I didn't do a very thorough update as I had planned. However, summer is only two days away!

Well, this is the beginning of what will hopefully become an informative and entertaining web site. I have programmed for about 8 months now so I can begin to add text and files to this web site soon. Unfortunately, because of school, my programming projects, and Jedi Knight :), I find myself with little time. Nevertheless, I will focus on putting forth a competent and proper web site. Look for more in the near future.

Goals

  1. Add a "Links" section.
  2. Add more info and source code files.
  3. Add explanation text files to source code zip files.
