Superior Performance When Space is Really Tight.
MTX introduces a clever mix of leading edge technology (including MTX's
Asymmetrical Linear Drive System). These new subwoofers were designed to
play DEEP, LOW, BASS in a variety of enclosures: sealed, vented or bandpass.
For example, the 8" will play in a sealed enclosure as small as .25 cu
foot. With 4, 8, or 12 ohm impedance options, the installation possibilities
are virtually endless.
Extreme Power Handling Levels
Oversized magnet structure, a four-layer voice coil and black Kapton
voice coil formers keep these subwoofers ready and eager to play.
Acoustically Stable for accurate Sonic Reproduction
Black, polyether foam surrounds with paper pulp cone. Gold plated speaker
connectors offer secure connections. The black EPDM gasket makes a tight
seal when rear mounted, and a cosmetic nicety when front mounted.
Sleek yet Rugged Looks
Black Spider, with black plated front plate, black plate and pole piece.
