use a better system file editor
Configuration Editor allows you to examine and edit your system files (config.sys, win.ini, etc.) all in one place with a clean, orderly, tabbed document interface. Just click on the tab to go from one file to another. You already have System Configuration Editor (sysedit.exe), which comes with windows, but it uses the awkward multi-window approach. Compare the two and you'll see why Configuration Editor is easier to use.
