HideIt

hides windows icons

HideIt, 10Kb

HideIt automatically hides specified program icons when you run it. Typically you use it to hide the icons of resident utilities you run at start up. The icons are gone, but the programs are still running. HideIt closes itself after it hides stuff, so no system resources are taken up. If you are using Winbar, hiding the icons also clears the program from the windows menu. Simple and effective.

Oh, and you can still access hidden programs if you want. Either start Hider again using while holding down the shift key, or use our replacement for the task manager, FTaskman, which can hide or unhide programs.
