MouseKey

use the mouse buttons for handy shortcuts

MouseKey, 22Kb

MouseKey allows you to create handy shortcuts using the mouse buttons, especially the right and center buttons. For example, you can set the program up so when you right click in Notepad it brings up the find dialog. MouseKey recognizes lots of different "clicks", like shift-click, control-click, double right click, etc., and each can be assigned a different action. And each application can have its own set of shortcuts . So right clicking can do one thing in Internet Explorer and something else in Notepad. You can even assign shortcuts to the title bar area of all applications and the desktop itself!

Yet with all these possibilities, MouseKey is well organized and easy to setup and configure. The program, like many utilities that need to be running all the time, should be placed in the startup group. It is so well designed that it hides itself after it starts and is configured through its own control panel. Very cool.
