 Splitz
split and rejoin large files
This little utility lets you cut up and rejoin large files. What for? Well, some files are too large fit on a floppy (1,400Kb) or to be sent as a single email attachment (varies, usually 500Kb). So they have to be split, sent as pieces, and rejoined at the other end. Using Splitz is clear and intuitive. The help file has straightforward instructions if you have any questions or problems. A nice little feature: if you specify the split files to be placed on floppy disk, the program will prompt you for additional floppies as needed. The same goes for when you join files from floppy disk.
Remember to bring a copy of Splitz along, you will need it to rejoin the files on the other computer.
