Garth's Asimov Page

I just love the works of Isaac Asimov.

I find it very interesting that he can turn very not interesting things into articles that are interesting. Take, for instance, an essay I read recently about the history of matches. That doesn't even sound remotely interesting. But, once Asimov gets finished with the essay, it is very interesting. You always want to know more about whatever the subject is, no matter what the subject.

Asimov wrote about 500 books. That is a lot. He wrote even more essays. Personally, I like his essays better. They are more condensed than his books. His essays are about science, which I like. His essays are short. His essays are really interesting. You can't help from feeling like you know the subject inside and out once you finish with one of his essays.

If you have never read anything by Isaac Asimov, you are a loser. Really. He writes so well that he ought to be required reading for everyone. Go to your local bookstore and get the book The Positronic Man by Asimov and Robert Silverberg. That is one of the best books that I've ever read. You will like it. Email me what you think.
