bout Me
I am an Australian born, of Italian origin. I was born on the 17 of August in 1975 in Sydney, Australia. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister, and I'm the unlucky one being the eldest. We are an average family, not big enough for an Italian family though hehehe.
I'm a final year Computer Systems Engineering student (yeah, I get to wear the gown and that funny hat) at the University of Technology, Sydney. I have to say, it has been hell for the last five years. They say it is a five and half year course, ha! at least six. If anyone whats to do this course, don't unless you really what to or enjoy it, it's no holiday.
I'm also learning to play the Piano (Pianoforte is the correct name). I wish I had a 9ft Grand Piano, but an upright will have to do until I'm really good. I'm currently doing 6th grade, I'm just about half way completed this grade. I hear that 7th grade is very difficult. I predominantly play classical pieces, like works from Beethoven (Fur Elise, Moonlight Sonata - first movement, etc.), Mozart (Rondo alla Turca, and others), Liszt (Liebestraume No.3 which I'm currently learning - he is really difficult) and other greats, just to name a few.
I recently started learning the Violin. It is much fun and to my surprise it is hard to make that awful screaching sound that we all dread. It is far easier than the piano. What's great is it's small size, is very light and easy for one to express themselves.
Some of my Hobbies
- As you already know, I really enjoy playing the Piano (it's fun)
- A new found hobby is playing the violin.
- This is probably obvious but, I enjoy listening the classical music (I do like other styles as well, like blues, swing, jazz, techno ...)
- Ice-Skating, though I'll never be a speed skater or figure skater
- Tennis and Table tennis
- I enjoy tinkering with Electronics
- Tinkering with computer hardware and writing software
- Networking (Information Technology) and Communications
